January vacation!

So Nisha and I haven't travelled anywhere since going to Las Vegas to see Big Bang in concert, that was in October. We have been brainstorming and we thought about doing the whole camping thing. After researching, we decided we aren't ready for that yet. We were considering camping at Big Bend National Park, but after going over all the things we needed to buy (hahah black people don't have camping supplies) we decided not right now, but we will this year, for sure. We like traveling to cool cities in the U.S so we decided to go back to Philadelphia, it was almost Chicago or back to New York City (we were just there in September). We decided on Philadelphia because we actually visited the city before and actually had a great time. The cool thing is we found a cute hotel in old city (that's exactly the place we want to be amongst all the old colonial type row houses) added bonus is it's the week they have restaurant week so it's going to be a major foodie paradise. So we plan to eat yummy cool things in the city center, visit Chinatown (they have the 3rd largest after San Fransisco and New York City *we ate at a bunch of NYC chinatown spots) go to the Reading Terminal Market, Visit the Rodin Museum, Mütter Museum, Independence hall, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art... These are just a couple of places I want to visit while there. I'm excited and I can break in that new suitcase I bought myself for Christmas.

I also need to plan a mini trip for my birthday in March, just something small, somewhere drivable. It's always hard because it is during spring break and everyplace jacks up the rates for everything. I may just have an adventure around Dallas. I know in April me and Nisha may head down to San Antonio because we had a fun time during the Fiesta celebrations and this year is the 125th Fiesta. I'm also planning to go to Seattle for Nisha's birthday so we can head to the Pacific Northwest. Also hopefully SE Asia this winter. We're going to do some major traveling.
